13 Jahre - 2006 A velvet duvet of tranquillity
Soft aromas of candied pineapples and vanilla pods fused with rich honey and demerara sugar against an intriguing backdrop of autumn leaves and hazelnuts. The palate was creamy and silky like toffee and fudge surrounding fluffy ice cream in a caramel cone. The gentle character hardly required water, however after a few drops we found pronounced woody notes with linseed oil and herb laden liqueurs. Lavender and rose hips unified with toasted pine nuts and apple pie before the velvety palate delivered chocolate truffles with crumbled almonds. Tropical fruits then joined plum jam and fresh figs before the finish rounded out with coconut water, peaches and clean oak.
