Dailuaine: The Whisky is quite rare as a single malt as most of the production is used for blending. Fruit rind sharpness with some marmalade concentration is tempered by barley sugar softness and leafy smokiness drifting in through the cat flap. The peaty strain is evident immediately as the flavours start to joust. This is an interesting creamy smoky dram with real character. -BBR
