Besonders interessant ist hier die Fasszusammensetzung. Notiz des Abfüllers: "This 1996 Ben Nevis has an unusual history: spending its first 7 years in a sherry butt, then being divided into two ex-bourbon hogsheads until I was able to reunite the two halves for this bottling. The result is a classic super-fruity, fragrant and complex ’96 Ben Nevis given a bit of extra depth by that first spell in sherry wood. An exceptionally elegant and characterful malt."
