Color: quite bright… I like bright Whiskies (that means, that there isn't too much additional coloring added). Golden Amber
Nose: vanilla, prunes, whipped cream, smoke, cumin, star anise, white chocolate. Very rich for just ONE cask! Not so smoked as the 10 years old, nor so rich as the Select. 21,5
Palate: peat smoke, caramel, strong wood flavor (like a good quality cask). Raisins, black tea, a bit sweet, grapefruit peel, burned bacon 22
Finish: cocoa, leather, wood, prunes, burned something ;-) , vanilla, ripe pear, apple seeds. Bitter, but pleasant. Medium long and intense 21
Balance: Tasty, intensive Whisky. Un-chill filtered, which means a good finish… but the strongest part of this Malt is the taste. It seems to be not very much additional caramel in it. For the peat smoke lovers, it's Superb! A lot of smoke. Intense, great! 23
Overall: 87,5

Farbe: ziemlich hell ...
Körper: Torfrauch, Karamell, kräftiger Holzgeschmack (ein guter Faß). Rosinen, schwarzer Tee, ein bisschen süß, Grapefruitschale, verbranntes Speck 22
Finish: Kakao, Leder, Holz, Pflaumen, verbranntes Irgendwas ;-), Vanille, reife Birne, Apfelsamen. Bitter, aber angenehm. Mittellang und intensiv 21
Balance: Geschmackvoller, intensiver Whisky. Viel Rauch. Intensiv, Super! 23
Insgesamt: 87,5
