Glenrothes Maker's Cut
This Maker's Cut of Glenrothes is part of the new Soleo Collection and is without an age statement. The Whisky gained its natural colour in Sherry oak casks. The new Soleo Collection replaced the Vintage Reserve bottlings of Glenrothes. The striking colours are showing the maturation art and stages of the colour development of a Sherry grape during drying, the Soleo process.

Comment: Wow! Succulent! Luscious! Mouth watering! Delightful! Wonderful nose. Zesty taste. Fairly long, rich and mouth coating finish. I really like the 48.8 ABV. The “regular “ standard Glenrothes at 40 ABV is good, but a little tame for me. This Makers Cut is definitely a “buy again!”
