This is the strong Three Wood from Auchentoshan. After a ten year long maturation in Ex-Bourbon casks, it finished for two years in Oloroso Sherry casks and then for additionaly six months in a sweet Pedro Ximénez Sherry cask.

Finish:
Middle linger finish with dry taste. Not such a strong flavor except for wood.
Comment:
Very different one than expected. I thought this was one with heavy sherry, vanilla, chocolate. But the truth is wood chips, oak, chili, then following sherry surroundings. But this flavor is not intense.
