Sipsmith London Dry Gin

Sipsmith is the equivalent of the word 'wordsmith'. Just as a wordsmith experiments and creates, the London Gin distillery creates great sips. In the year 2009, the owner Sam Galsworthy and Fairfax Hall build the first Gin still in almost 200 years. Sadly the still is so small, that it is prohibited in London to distil Gin. To do so the still has to have a capacity of 1.800 litres and the Sipsmith still had only 300 litres. The founder started a petition to change the law and are allowed to legally produce Gin since then.
