Glendalough Wild Botanical Gin
The Glendalough Wild Botanical Gin only contains wild herbs and fruits, which are growing near the Irish distillery: elderflowers, wild raspberry, roses and woodruff, as well as typical Irish herbs like orris root and yarrow. The history of Glendalough dates back to the year 518. Around this time Saint Kevin withdrew to the Irish wilderness, where he lived for seven long years. According to a legend, he stood in the water with blackbird eggs in his hand for 13 days and nights until the baby birds hatched. He waited for another 13 days until the blackbirds could fly.
