Ardnamurchan Release Nr 2 - AD/01.21:01
The history of the Ardnamurchan distillery already begins in 1826, when the Adelphi Distillery was built. For a long time great masses of Malt and Grain Whisky was produced, until an accident in a washback happened, which causes a lot of damage and the Malt production had to be stopped in 1907. 25 years later the grain production also stopped and in the late 60s, the distillery was ultimately torn down. In the 90s the descendants of the former owner began to release independent Whisky bottlings under the name Adelphi and planned to open a new distillery. Since 2014 the new Ardnamurchan Distillery produces Single Malt again. The second release contains equal shares of peated and non-peated spirit, which then matured in Bourbon (65%) and Sherry (35%) casks. Limited bottling.
