Highland Cattle 11 Years
This Highland Cattle is the second bottling of the Whisky.de Blended Malt in a new design. The 11 year old is a Blended Malt Scotch Whisky, which the taste of was created by Whisky.de in a creative process. It mostly matured in oak casks which stored Sherry before. A small part comes from first-fill Ex-Bourbon casks which brings the aromas together perfectly. The challenge is to marry together the Sherry and Ex-Bourbon casks of the different distilleries in a way that keeps an ideal balance between the complexity of the Malts and the individual matured casks. A complex and Sherry heavy Whisky was created with notes of dark fruits.
