Comment: A welcomed nose with that signature Bowmore peat and sweetness. A sour tart tone is found within, like a lemon and fig paste mixed with the spices and tannons of the oak. A mild sherry and sweetness carry throughout. At 35 ppm and 40 ABV I believe this whisky to be a good introductory to the Isle of Islay.
