Aberlour
This Aberlour a'bunadh is a good mixture of sherry notes and fruits.
First this single malt whisky matured in normal oak casks and was then finished in special selected sherry casks. By doing that Aberlour keeps its significant fruitiness.
Like the Aberlour 12 years old this malt was matured in ex-bourbon casks and sherry casks. But due to the longer time of maturation this scotch is maturer and smoother.
This single malt Scotch whisky is partially matured in ex-sherry casks. It is well-balanced and smooth. Its mild harmonic taste reminds the connoisseur a bit of a delicate liqueur.
Knockdhu - AnCnoc
A very fresh and sweet AnCnoc single malt. You will find some sweet malty notes that convert themselves to vanilla. On the tongue you will find some acidity that follows in a medium-long clear finish.
Ardbeg
The Ardbeg Corryvreckan is named after Europe's biggest vortex. It lies very close to the Hebrides and the Isle of Jura on the west coast of Scotland. It comes non chill filtered and with a high ABV. The Corryvreckan impersonates the untamed character...
Even on this year's Ardbeg Day the distillery presents a new limited edition. It's called Ardbog and pays homage to the famous peat moors of the Island of Islay - "bog" in English. Ardbog is the result of experiments with different casks types, which...
This was the first bottling of the newly opened Ardbeg distillery under the new banner. It was bottled from 90% ex-bourbon casks and 10% ex-sherry casks. The Ardbeg Uigeadail is fruitier and smoother than the normal Ardbeg TEN.
Ardbeg TEN stands for a very intense, peated Whisky that you can enjoy regularly. Its taste is full and intense like the Isle of Islay itself. While tasting you always have this smoky note lingering over everything. A very nice non chill filtered whisky...
Arran-Lochranza
Nose: fresh tropical fruits with pineapple, peach and coconut. There is also some peat in the back Taste: Citric fruits in combination with spices. Slow developing peat smoke character. Finish: Long and warm with some smoke.
The best casks from the Arran distillery were selected for this new Cask Finish Range. This is the cask range finish whisky with the port casks.
This Arran malt from the Cask Finish Series was finished in Sauternes wine casks.
Edradour
This Ballechin is not an old bottling, but an Edradour production. It has more than 50 ppm peat content and is therefore at a strong Islay Level. It was matured in First Fill Bordeaux Hogsheads.
The Balvenie
This Balvenie was matured in old sherry and bourbon casks. It makes this scotch interesting but also mild. The orange flavour and a deep sweetness make it a true gem among malt whiskies.
Ben Nevis
The Ben Nevis 10 years old is a very strong, spicy and aromatic whisky. It is well rounded with a faint peat smoke and some sweetness.
