The Finlaggan Single Cask for Germany is the first bottling in the series with an age statement and is a strictly limited 10-year-old Islay Single Malt that has been fully matured in an ex-Bourbon hogshead and bottled exclusively for Germany at a strong 52.5% vol. Its flavour profile offers an intense combination of peat smoke, citrus notes, maritime hints and fine roasted aromas. Created by the Vintage Malt Whisky Company Ltd, Finlaggan was designed to epitomise the spirit of Islay. The brand is named after a lake on the north side of the island, just west of Port Askaig, where the Macdonald Lords of the Isles were based. The first cask strength single cask with an age statement is aimed at collectors and connoisseurs alike.
