Payment methods

You can pay for your order with delivery to Germany using one of the following payment methods :

• Purchase on account
• SEPA direct debit

• G Pay (Google Pay)

• Prepayment

Please understand that when choosing payment methods with a risk for Whisky.de, we may subsequently request a different payment method if the risk check / credit check result is negative or if you order as a company. In such cases, we will contact you by e-mail afterwards and find a solution quickly and easily. Furthermore, we reserve the right to restrict the payment methods in advance for whisky rarities, date orders, very limited bottlings and high purchase amounts.

Below you will find the details and terms of payment for the various payment methods:

Purchase on account

We are happy to deliver to you on account - subject to creditworthiness. You will receive an electronic invoice in PDF format by e-mail when the goods are delivered. Please make sure that the e-mail addresses you have entered are correct and check your SPAM settings so that the electronic invoice can be delivered correctly. Please pay the invoice immediately and without deduction. Please state your invoice and customer number as requested on the invoice when making the transfer.

By SEPA direct debit

Pay conveniently by SEPA direct debit from the second order. Creditworthiness required. The amount will be debited from your account after your order has been dispatched.

Please refrain from a return debit note for the time being and contact us so that we can clarify the matter. This may save you and us unnecessary costs. Thank you very much!

PayPal

You can also pay at Whisky.de via your PayPal account. After selecting the PayPal payment method, you will be redirected to the PayPal login page during checkout, where you can make the payment and finalise your order.

PayPal Express ("Direct to PayPal")

You can also pay at Whisky.de via the so-called PayPal Express Checkout. By clicking on "Direct to PayPal" on the shopping basket page, you will be forwarded directly to the PayPal login page where you can make the payment. Your data will then be transferred to us to process the order and you can complete the order without registering. Optionally, you can create a customer account on the order completion page by entering your password.

Credit card (VISA / MasterCard)

Pay for your Whisky.de order conveniently with your credit card. We accept VISA and MasterCard. When you complete your order, the invoice amount is reserved on your credit card and collected after the order has been dispatched.

In order to guarantee maximum security and strengthen trust, we use the so-called 3D-Secure security procedure. This is called "Verified by VISA" for VISA or "MasterCard SecureCode" for MasterCard. During the payment process, an input window of the respective house bank opens in which you may have to enter your personal authentication code in order to verify your cardholder data and authorise the payment.

Your data is always entered, transmitted and processed using the latest encryption and security technologies.

Apple Pay / G Pay (Google Pay)

When paying via Apple Pay / G Pay, the purchase price is charged to your Apple Pay or G Pay account at the end of the order process. To be able to use these payment methods, you need a corresponding account with the respective provider and must store a means of payment there (e.g. your debit or credit card). The use of Apple Pay also requires the use of an Apple device. Further information can be obtained directly from the providers.

Prepayment

If you select the prepayment payment method, we will provide you with our bank details in the order confirmation, which you will receive by email immediately after completing your order. Please follow the instructions contained therein to pay the invoice amount to the account details provided by us. Please make sure that you state your order number in the "Purpose of payment" field or in the "Payment reference" field when making the transfer - this is the only way we can quickly allocate your incoming payment and deliver your order as quickly as possible.

The invoice amount must be transferred to our account within 6 days of receipt of the order confirmation. We ask for your understanding that we will cancel orders without receipt of payment after the deadline has passed and delete them without further enquiry in order to be able to offer the goods to other customers.
