From Speyside, independent bottler A.D. Rattray bottled the 15-year-old Glen Spey in the Cask Collection. After maturing in bourbon casks, the single malt spent 11 months in a first fill cognac cask, making it fruity and sweet with accents of almond butter. The independent bottler was originally founded as a trading company by Andrew Dewar Rattray. His descendant Tim Morrison developed the company into an independent bottler with its own brands. The Cask Collection offers single cask maturations and special cask finishes from renowned distilleries, which present different flavours and aroma profiles.
