The current owners of the 1776 brand have made it their mission to reposition the legendary whiskey on the market. Historical research, documents and preserved bottles from the earlier days helped to get close to the original taste of James E. Pepper's whiskey.
More than 90% rye was used for the 1776 Rye.

    Kommentar: Leider wird dieses Produkt nun mit 46 % verkauft. Die 50 % Version hatte so viel mehr... Vor Allem eine super interessante Öligkeit... naja, nun bleibt ein Rye der ganz okay ist und auch sicher stärken hat, dieser geht aber schon zu sehr Richtung Bourbon mit wenig Ecken und d Kanten.
