Product description
Angel's Envy is one of the few Kentucky straight Bourbons to be matured for 3 to 6 months in port wine barrels. During the almost six years of maturation in the barrels, around five per cent of the alcohol evaporates, a small proportion that is also known as 'Angel's Share'. The small batch bottling was released for travel retail and impresses with its vanilla sweetness and spicy, fruity flavours at 50% vol.

    Kommentar: Sehr guter Buorbon. Leicht süßlich mit Fruchtigen Noten. Im Abgang bleibt das Aroma lang auf der Zunge.

    Kommentar: Lasst den original ruhig stehen, denn der hier kommt wesentlich besser als die Standardabfüllung mit allem zurecht. Das Aroma ist intensiver, der Geschmack ist mundfüllender und der Abgang länger. Nicht umsonst ist eben Alkohol der Geschmacksträger. Vom Standard war ich nicht so begeistert, der jedoch reißt es raus. Bitte mehr davon....evtl. vielleicht irgendwann auch eine Fassstärke?! Ich würde es mir wünschen. 3,5 Sterne für einen guten Bourbon mit Nachreifung
