Arran 'Barrel Reserve' has been part of the island distillery's core range since autumn 2019. Only bourbon casks were chosen for the Single Malt, which made it fresh and light. The sweet and fruity Arran is a dram for all occasions.

The Distillery:
The Lochranza distillery is located on the Isle of Arran, after which it was initially named. In 2019, Lagg, the second distillery on the island, opened. As a result, Arran renamed itself Lochranza to better distinguish it. However, the Single Malt Whisky is still available under the Arran brand.

Kommentar: Grundsolide, angenehm. Keine Färbung, fairer Preis. Bei Arran merke ich aber nie eine maritime Note, als Inselwhisky nicht passend für mich.

Kommentar: Ein guter Whisky für zwischendurch. Mir gefällt der Arran 10 Jahre etwas besser, da er etwas weicher im Abgang ist. Auf jeden Fall ein sehr leckerer Tropfen, der mir gut geschmeckt hat
