Aroma Fruity with hints of stone fruit and a hint of pineapple, plus oak, toffee and accents of honey, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Taste Tropical notes, creamy, fruity again with a hint of pineapple and fine spicy notes of clove and ginger.
Finish Long and intense, dark chocolate and tropical fruits.

Product description
Balblair is located in the small village of Edderton in the Scottish Highlands. The distillery takes its time to produce the single malts, which are matured in traditional 'dunnage' warehouses with clay soils. In 2019, the distillery introduced a new core range, which will replace the core range previously consisting of vintage bottlings. This 21-year-old single malt matured in ex-bourbon casks and then in Oloroso sherry casks, which give the malt additional depth and fruity facets.

Balblair is one of the most northern distilleries of Scottland. It lies right next to the Dornoch Firth and was established in 1790. The distillery character is best described as 'very fruity and sweet Speyside Malt'. Balblair means fertile valley, but also battlefield. This is traceable to a battle between the Picts and the Vikings many centuries ago. read more

    Aroma: Fruchtig mit Anklängen von Steinobst und einem Hauch Ananas, dazu Eiche, Toffee und Akzente von Honig, Zimt und Muskat.

    Geschmack: Tropische Anklänge, cremig, erneut fruchtig mit etwas Ananas und feinen Gewürznoten von Nelke und Ingwer.

    Abgang: Lang und intensiv, dunkle Schokolade und tropische Früchte.
