Aroma Balanced notes of spruce tip tea, candied fennel and ginger snap, followed by mint ice cream and raspberry glaze.
Taste Dry with notes of graham cracker, herbs, cardamom and cedar wood. Facets of carrot green and dark chocolate become espresso notes, with nuances of Nutella and apricot jam on rye toast.
Finish Long and dry with pronounced notes of vanilla-caramel and cinnamon undertones. Spicy and dry finish.

The Texan Balcones Distillery was founded in Waco in 2008. Balcones distils Corn, Texas Straight Rye, Bourbon and also Single Malt Whisky. The distillery uses copper pot stills from the well-known Scottish manufacturer Forsyths - one of the few in the USA.
