Product description
The 27-year-old Benriach is made up of smoky, non-smoky and triple distilled whiskies sourced from casks around the world and selected by Master Blender Rachel Barrie. The blending takes place in a single Oloroso Sherry Puncheon, which holds between 450 and 500 litres.

Aroma: Erdiger Rauch (trocken, fruchtig, fein süßlich und torfig), Sherry, Blumigkeit, saure Nektarinen, Orangenhaut, dunkle Schokolade oder Espressobohnen. Die Aromen sind wahnsinnig vielfätig und komlpex.

Geschmack: Torfig, fruchtig und komlex (ohne Ende!): Dunkle Schokolade, fermentiertes Obst (Orange, Beeren, Zitrus, etc.) und Süßgebäck.

Abgang: Sehr lang. Zartbitterschokolade pur mit Rauch und Eiche. Herbe Fruchtnoten mit leichtem brickeln auf der Zunge.

Kommentar: Faszinierender Single Malt! Nichts für Anfänger oder Rauchmuffel! Höchste Vollkommenheit an Geschmack, Qualität und Fassauswahl. Der "Mount Everest" unter den Benriachs!

Aroma: Geräucherte Pinienkerne, Orangen Wein und Créme Karamell mit Ahornsirup, dunkler Schokolade und Fudgekuchen.

Geschmack: Erneut dunkle Schokolade mit feinen Akzenten von Limette, kandierte Birnen mit geräucherten Walnussbrot, Lakritz und gebackenen Johannisbeeren.
