Aroma Delicate, fresh notes of lemon sweets with an effervescent centre (lemon sherbet), plus barley malt and green apple, followed by jasmine notes.
Taste Sweet and creamy, with grapefruit, lemon and lime. Facets of pineapple with honeycomb and spicy pepper follow.
Finish Long and fresh, with hints of toasted oak and a touch of fresh peppermint.

Product description
For this 12-year-old Benromach from the Speyside distillery's Contrasts series, unpeated barley with a high enzyme content, which is otherwise used for the production of Grain Whisky, was used for the first time. This successful Single Malt experiment was matured in first fill Bourbon barrels. These specifications have turned the Benromach into a fresh whisky with fruity facets and sweet and savoury notes.

Aroma: Zarte, frische Noten von Zitronenbonbons mit Brausekern (Lemon Sherbet), dazu Gerstenmalz und grüne Apfel, gefolgt von Jasminnoten.

Geschmack: Süß und cremig, mit Grapefruit, Zitrone und Limette. Facetten von Ananas mit Honigwaben und würzigem Pfeffer folgen nach.

Abgang: Lang und frisch, mit Anklängen gerösteter Eiche und einem Hauch frischer Pfefferminze.
