Taste Sweet, mild, oily with hints of rum sultanas, nuts, vanilla and again toffee with a subtle woody note.
Finish Short and spicy with light metallic accents and dark chocolate.

Product description
The Mantuano Rum has been part of Botucal's core range - also known internationally as "Ron Diplomático" - since the end of 2016, beginning of 2017 and replaces the Reserva Rum. The many facets of Botucal Mantuano Rum are modelled on the popular flagship Botucal Reserva Exclusiva. Recognisable notes of dried fruit, sweet vanilla and hints of spice can be attributed to the eight years of ageing, but the distillation in batch kettle, column still and Pot Still are also responsible for the balanced interplay of sweetness and spice. 'Mantuano' translates as 'noble man of honour'. Like all of the distillery's rums, this bottling is made from a blend of sugar cane honey and molasses.
