Bruichladdich Rum Cask is the distillery's first whisky to be finished in rum casks. The second bottling from the 'Spirit matured Casks' series and the successor to the 16-year-old Bourbon Cask.

Aroma: Sehr deutliches Rum-Aroma, mir schon fast zu penetrant.

Geschmack: Vanille, Süße, Honig, Tropenfrüchte, Toffee/Karamell

Abgang: Kurz bis mittellang

Kommentar: Für mich deutlich zu Rum-lastig, der Rum verdrängt fast den Whisky.

Geschmack: fruchtiger Rum, blumig, unrefe Früchte, etwas sprittig

Aroma: Starkes Rum Aroma und grasigen Noten. Etwas unangenehm und undefinierbares ist das Essig??

Geschmack: Würzig Salz&Pfeffer etwas Eiche ein wenig trocken.

Abgang: Mittel lang und würzig.

Kommentar: Sehr unangenehmes Aroma. Der 1. Dram denn ich fast weggekippt hätte. Werde ich mit sicherheit nie wieder trinken
