Product description
Bumbu The Original is the flagship of the distillery, which was opened in Barbados in 1893. It processes sugar cane from eight of the world's top sugar cane producing countries: Barbados, Bélize, Brazil, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Honduras and Guyana. The rums are matured for up to 15 years before they are blended with natural flavours, as the sailors of the 16th and 17th centuries once did. They mixed Caribbean fruits and spices with their rum and called this mixture "Bumbu".
