Product description
This 12-year-old Bushmills is a triple-distilled and triple-matured Irish single malt whiskey. Oloroso sherry and bourbon casks are used for the initial maturation before a finish in Marsala wine casks, which give the three-wood whiskey its dried fruit and sherry flavours. All orchestrated by Colum Egan, the master distiller at Bushmills, who originally created this bottling for the Taiwanese market.

The Old Bushmills Distillery is probably the oldest licensed Whiskey distillery in the world - its licence dates back to 1608. It was officially founded in 1784 by Hugh Anderson in the Northern Irish town of Bushmills. Since then, Bushmills has been synonymous with traditionally triple-distilled, mild Irish Whiskey.     Kommentar: Ich mag ihn sehr. Leicht, fruchtig, ein wenig Süße und Sherry. Im Abgang dann auch etwas Würze. Ein m.E. wirklich guter "Alltags"-Whiskey. Mir gefällt auch das Flaschendesign. Außerdem ist das PLV des Gesamtpakets für mich mehr als günstig.

    Kommentar: leicht und mild. Ein wenig, Süße, leicht fruchtig, dezente Eiche und ein angenehm cremiges Mundgefühl. Wer den normalen 10jährigen Bushmills mag, wird auch hier nicht enttäuscht werden. Bietet das, was man erwarten kann. Nicht mehr, aber auch nicht weniger. Easy drinking.
