The Coillmor Bavarian Christmas 2021 matured in two different casks. An Oloroso sherry cask, the contents of which were distilled in August 2012, and a PX sherry cask from January 2010 were married together for this purpose.

The Distillery: Liebl
The Liebl distillery in Bad Kötzting in the Bavarian Forest has been producing spirits since the 1970s. The Liebl family started with Bärwurz and Blutwurz Schnapps and over the years added further Brandies, Spirits and Liqueurs. In the meantime, the Liebl range also includes the home-distilled Whisky 'Coillmor', as well as Gin and Rum.

Geschmack: Alter Tabak, Leder, schlecht gealterte Früchte

Kommentar: ?? Achtung ?? Dies ist keine Bewertung im klassischen Sinne sondern eine Warnung. Die deutsche Whiskyindustrie zu unterstützen ist eine gute Sache aber leider nicht mit dieser schrecklichen Flasche. Nach über 100 Whisky die ich kennen und schätzen lernen durfte ist dies wirklich das destillierte Grauen. Lg

Kommentar: Meinen Geschmack hat dieser Whisky nicht unbedingt getroffen. Aber vielleicht nach mehrmaligen probieren öffnet sich dieser vielleicht noch ein klein wenig mehr oder mit der Zeit kommt man auf den Geschmack. Die Nase ist eigentlich recht vielversprechend, dennoch ist es eine subtile Süße die einen erwartet - im Geschmack erwartet einen eine Art Malzbonbon welche nicht wirklich gut in meinen Augen mit den Sherry-Anklangen funktioniert. Ist natürlich alles Geschmacksache.
