The 16-year-old Dailuaine was bottled by Diageo. Under the Flora & Fauna Series, the owner bottles selected casks from several distilleries, each individually as a Single Malt. The Flora & Fauna series is a true enrichment of the whisky scene and is considered by collectors as an original bottling, if there are no other original bottlings.

Kommentar: Alkohol jederzeit gut eingebunden. Transportiert Aromen und Geschmack angemessen: Früchte, Sherry, Eiche, Nuancen von Rauch, etwas Vanille und Honig. Und doch fehlt ein wenig Komplexität, der Moment der mich vollends überzeugt. Vergleichsbasis ist für mich der Glenallachie 15, der mich jederzeit vollumfänglich überzeugt.
