The 16-year-old Dailuaine was bottled by Diageo. Under the Flora & Fauna Series, the owner bottles selected casks from several distilleries, each individually as a Single Malt. The Flora & Fauna series is a true enrichment of the whisky scene and is considered by collectors as an original bottling, if there are no other original bottlings.

    Abgang: lang anhaltend, trocken, Sherry, Gewürze, etwas Eiche

    Kommentar: Schade das es von dieser Destillery keine Eigenabfüllungen am Markt gibt. Hat das Potenzial für mehr. PLV okay.

    Aroma: Malzig süß, vergorene Früchte, leicht modriges Holz, dunkle getrocknete Früchte, feuchtes keimendes Getreide

    Geschmack: Fruchtig malzig, vollreife Birne mit etwas Annanas, die Eiche ist sehr schön eingebunden, verwoben (komplex) fruchtig, bis hin zu dunkler Schokolade und Kaffee

    Abgang: Fruchtige und schön kraftvolle Eiche, mittellang bis lang

    Kommentar: Mit 46%Vol. wärens eher 5 Sterne

    Kommentar: Tolle trockene Sherrybombe. Gefällt mir wirklich sehr gut und ist mittlerweile schon das dritte Mal in meiner Vitrine gelandet :) 3% mehr Alkohol würden ihm aber gut tun. PLV ist Top!
