Dalmunach First Fill Moscatel Finish - Stillmans Gold 9 Years 2016/2025

The 9-year matured Dalmunach was released by the independent German bottler The Cask Hound. The Speyside whisky matured in a former bourbon cask and was then finished for 1552 days in a first-fill Moscatel sherry cask. The Caskhound has set itself the task of bringing exactly this kind of pleasure to the glass: versatile, unique and always with surprising cask combinations. The Dalmunach Single Malt is presented at 59.7% vol. at natural cask strength, i.e. without the addition of artificial colourings or chill-filtering, and reveals its full aromatic expressiveness. The remains of the old distillery, which was located on the site from 1897-2012, were incorporated into the new distillery in 2015 with an architecturally impressive design. Inspiration was drawn from the shape of barley, which reflects the core ingredient of Single Malt Whisky.
