For it's price it's a good whisky. Overall it's slightly above average. Incredibly, incredibly sweet with a hint of oak, which is basically all I'm tasting. Slight step up from Buffalo Trace (the whisky) which is basically sugar water. If you want a bit more depth I'd look further into Buffalo Trace's (the distillery) offerings but in the EU you'll be paying twice (Blanton's original) or triple (EH Taylor, Blanton's Gold, Stagg is basically unobtanium).
