Edradour is one of the smallest producing distilleries in Scotland. Edradour only produces as much malt whisky in a whole year as large distilleries do in a single week. Edradour is a very intense single malt with a clear sherry cask influence. The Single Malt Whisky is one of the most popular whiskies, ideal for both beginners and trained connoisseurs. Now with 43% instead of the usual 40% vol.

Aroma: Voll und intensiv sherrytönig mit Eichentanninen und fruchtigen Noten sowie etwas Schokolade.
Geschmack: Sanft, cremig und süß, gefolgt von Würze und Früchten.

Kommentar: Toller, intensiver Sherrywhisky, handwerklich perfekte Fassauswahl, rund harmonisch und aussagekräftig, für nur 10 Jahre. Erinnert mich in der Machart an einige ältere Abfüllungen von Glenturret. Zeigt neben den Sherrynoten noch viele weitere Geschmacksnuancen, sehr intensiv für das Alter von 10 Jahren! immer noch tolles PLV mit 3 Vol.% mehr, hat mich voll überzeugt. Höchstnote!
