For the Ink & Oak Collection, the meeting place for fine spirits has delved deeply into the art of tattooing in order to present excellent Single Malts in an extraordinary way with precise and detailed motifs. Since its foundation in 1993, Whisky.de has kept its finger on the pulse and developed the Ink & Oak Collection, a special series that is ideal for collecting and savouring, but is also intended to encourage cultural exchange between different passions. The 17-year-old Glen Moray Single Malt matured in sherry casks before being refined in a second fill Oloroso hogshead. The Speyside whisky was distilled in 2008 and literally sucked the fruity and sweet flavours out of the casks during its maturation phase. Combined with nutty flavours and a pleasantly medium finish, the result is a very special Speyside whisky. Not only an eye-catcher but also a real treat for the palate.

The Distillery: Glen Moray

The building in which Glen Moray is housed started out as the West Brewery, founded in 1828. In 1897, its owners, Robert Thorne & Sons, converted the site into a two-still Whisky distillery. read more
