Founded in 1826, the Glendronach distillery, which is now part of the Brown-Forman Group, has been recognised for generations as one of the great guardians of sherry cask maturation in Scotland. With the new release of the 21-year-old Sherry Cask in a new, elegant guise, the Highland distillery impressively combines tradition and the present: a whisky that preserves the historical heritage and at the same time emphasises the brand's modern premium self-image. This release demonstrates Glendronach's commitment to emphasising craftsmanship, patience and its special place among classic Highland malts. As the flagship of the ultra-premium core range, the 21-year-old clearly stands out from the younger standard bottlings and epitomises a timeless Highland icon. Master Blend Dr Rachel Barrie describes it as "an elegant composition of richness and finesse that captivates with depth and balance".
