The Glenfarclas Family Casks series contains single cask bottlings of various vintages since the early 1950s. For each vintage, only one cask was chosen to be among the best of its year. In order to continue to offer the full series, there have been several releases.

Aroma:
Sherry, dunkle reife Früchte, Sultaninen, Pflaumen und etwas Nüsse

Geschmack:
Kräftiger würziger Sherry mit leicht süßen Aromen, dann Nüsse und Eiche, leicht prickelnd und etwas trockener, Bitterschokolade

Abgang:
Sehr lang und komplex, mundfüllend, etwas süßlich mit Mandel und dann herb aber sehr angenehm, toll!
Kommentar:
Ein sehr komplexer Whisky mit einem enormen Sherry Aroma, unbedingt mit Wasser zu verdünnen!
Die Leute bei Glenfarclas wissen einfach wie man es macht, 1+ mit Sternchen und wirklich nicht für Anfänger.
