Glenfarclas Heritage honours the heritage of the family distillery in Speyside. For six generations, the Grant family has been behind one of Scotland's few family-run distilleries. Only the best casks were chosen by the Grant family for this bottling, which was matured entirely in sherry casks.

Glenfarclas
The Glenfarclas distillery was founded in 1836 by Robert Hay and is one of the best-known and most successful family-run distilleries in Scotland. The owner family Grant is proud of its private status, which is reflected in the distillery's slogan ‘The Spirit of Independence’. Since 1865, the fifth generation of the Grant family has been shaping the history of the Glenfarclas distillery. This long family tradition guarantees consistent quality and the necessary foresight for a long-lasting product such as Whisky. Kommentar: Dieser Whisky hat für mich ein eindimensionales, fast unangenehmes Aroma. Im Geschmack zeigt er sich wässrig-leicht, aber der Abgang ist bemerkenswert: Eine intensive Würze, ähnlich der von Malzbier, kommt klar zum Vorschein. Interessant ich würde ihn aber nicht mehr kaufen.
