Product description
One third of the Glengoyne Batch 10 Cask Strength Edition matured in sherry casks, half in refill oak casks and a small proportion in bourbon casks. To experience the distinctive and intense flavour, this Single Malt is released at cask strength. The outer packaging of the Single Malt is recyclable and therefore consists of 86% recycled material.

Kommentar: Ein klasse Whisky in Fassstärke! Im Aroma und Geschmack angenehm süße Noten bevor er nach dem runterschlucken nochmal richtig gut wird.
Eine Mischung aus Honig und Marzipan hinterlassen einen guten Eindruck. Die über 59% sind toll eingebunden und lassen sich auch ohne Weiteres pur genießen.

Schöne Farbe, goldbraun.
Dezente Holznoten,
Sägespäne.
Aber auch eine leichte Süße,
1st fill Oloroso Sherryfass.
Der Alkohol scheint gut eingebunden,
er sticht nicht hervor.
Ich rieche etwas Tee,

Der Antritt ist heftig!
Würzig und stark.
Mehr Holz, weniger Frucht.
Ein 2. Schluck wird noch etwas herber,
die leicht süße Nase ist verflogen.
Mit der Zeit dann doch etwas Vanille,
er wird wieder milder, aromatischer.

Der bleibt jung und ungestüm,
dennoch gibt es einiges zu entdecken…
