Glenmorangie Lasanta is part of the Extra Matured range from Glenmorangie. Lasanta means warmth and passion in Gaelic. After maturing in bourbon casks, the Single Malt is matured in Oloroso and PX sherry casks. This maturation process gives Lasanta its round, balanced body.

Kommentar: Natürlich ist auch dieser nicht übermäßig komplexe, kühlgefilterte und gefärbte Standard (mit einem meines Erachtens immer noch guten bis soliden PLV) kein Single Malt für einen Connaisseur, der unbedingt noch ein paar Seiten in seinem Tastingnotes-Block vollbekommen will. Der Verdacht liegt aber nahe, dass er das auch gar nicht sein möchte. Stattdessen bedient der Lasanta die Kategorie "Dram für den Feierabend im ledernen Ohrensessel". Er ist bequem, angenehm und weich auf der Zunge, knarzt aber doch genug, um uns nicht in den Schlaf zu treiben. Ein süffiger, unglaublich runder und einfach verdammt sauber geblendeter Whisky, der Anfänger und Kenner gleichermaßen glücklich machen kann. Oder wie Mr. Ford so schön wortkarg konsta
