The Glenmorangie Signet is a high-quality Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky from the Scottish Highlands and is one of the most characterful bottlings from the Glenmorangie distillery. It is produced on the basis of a unique recipe in which heavily roasted "chocolate malt" barley is used for the first time, giving the whisky its distinctive depth and unmistakable style. Glenmorangie Signet is matured in a carefully selected combination of first-fill American oak casks, ex-bourbon casks and specially selected sherry casks. The cask management is supplemented by particularly old Oloroso sherry casks from the distillery's private stocks, which give the whisky additional complexity and structure. This multi-layered cask maturation gives Glenmorangie Signet its intense flavour and exceptional balance. The flavour profile of Glenmorangie Signet is full-bodied and harmonious with notes of dark chocolate, roasted coffee, spices and a subtle sweetness, supported by a soft, creamy texture. The stretch of land in the Northern Highland on which Glenmorangie stands has been the site for alcohol production (mostly illicit) since the Middle Ages, setting a formidable legacy. Glenmorangie was founded in 1843, although operation didn’t start until 1849.

Abgang: Mittellang mit Mokka und Gewürzen, die sich mit Cappuccino und Amaretto verbinden, bevor schokoladen-überzogene Rosinen und Orange folgen.
