With Between You & I, the Highland Park distillery presents the first bottling in a new and strictly limited series. Created in collaboration with the Swedish three-star chef Björn Frantzén, this Single Malt Whisky combines the craftsmanship of the Orkney distillery with culinary creativity. Between You & I is a whisky that invites you to get to know and experience it for yourself. Instead of fixed tasting notes, the focus here is on individual interpretation. An innovative approach from the Orkney distillery. The bottling is designed to stimulate dialogue between whisky lovers and invite them to talk shop. Björn Frantzén, known for his unique combination of Nordic ingredients, French cooking techniques and Japanese philosophy, has been awarded three Michelin stars. As the first taster of this bottling, his impressions not only shaped the character, but also inspired the design and packaging of the Between You & I whisky. After 16 years of maturation in unseasoned Swedish oak casks, a first for Highland Park Distillery, sherry-aged European and American oak and ex-Bourbon casks, the Between You and I Single Malt has become a smooth yet complex whisky, with a variety and depth of flavours to discover.

This is what Whisky.de Senior Taster Horst Lüning says about the Highland Park Between You and I:

Aroma: Complex with vanilla, combined with the distillery character of citrus and orange. Then deeper and more layered with accents of marzipan, nutmeg and Christmas biscuits. Towards the end, flavours of crème brûlée unfold as if piercing through the caramel layer of the dessert.
Taste: Intense and full-bodied with spicy facets and notes of European oak, which meet beautifully integrated echoes from the aroma.
Finish: Balanced with subtle citrus notes and a pleasantly warming and drying finish.
