Ein absoluter Top Single Malt.
Ich bin selbst jemand der rauchigen Whisky eigentlich nicht mag.
Bei diesem Malt ist allerdings alles sehr angenehm und harmonisch ausbalanciert.
Der Rauch/Torf ist genau so stark, dass er zu einer positiven Steigerung der Komplexität beiträgt, ohne andere Aromen zu überdecken. Ganz klare Empfehlung.

Geschmack: Angenehme Mischung aus malziger Süße, Sherrynoten und etwas weichem Rauch. Kaum komplexer als bei jüngeren Abfüllungen.Malt Sweet Sherry Peat Smoke

Abgang: Etwas kurz, gute Eiche.Sweet Oak

Kommentar: Ohne die irrsinnige Komplexität der alten 18jährigen vor Vikings Pride macht es keinen Sinn diesen Malt zu diesem hohen Preis zu kaufen, ich steige auf jüngere Flaschen um. :C
