Variety Single Malt Whisky
Aroma Green apples blend with a hint of peaty smoke. The fruity aroma is reminiscent of rhubarb compote with vanilla and buttery shortbread.
Taste Unusual earthiness and saltiness. Paired with sweets made with milk chocolate and walnuts.
Finish Slightly smoky, with notes of soot and pencil shavings, giving way to liquorice.

Mitchell’s Glengyle Distillery in Campbeltown was closed for over 80 long years, but was restored and reopened by Springbank. The first distillate flowed on 25 March 2004. The name Kilkerran comes from Gaelic and is derived from ‘Ceann Loch Cilli Chiarain’. This was the name of the first settlement on the site where the town of Campbeltown stands today.
The Kilkerran Single Malt is slightly smoky and has been double-distilled.
