    Kommentar: Als Laphroaig Liebhaber wollte ich ihn eigentlich nur der Vollständigkeit halber probieren. Lange habe ich überlegt, da es ja 1 Liter ist. Wenn er nicht schmeckt, was dann? Und nun bin ich positiv überrascht. Im Geruch: Ganz klar Laphroaig, aber mit viel Süße und Vanille. Im Geschmack schlägt dann die Eiche zu. Eher frisch holzig mit verregneten "Waldaromen". Hinzu kommt eine cremige Vanille mit hellen Früchten und viel Rauch. Das Mundgefühl ist pfeffrig. Wer die Tiefe des 10ers sucht, muss bei ihm bleiben (Mache ich auch). Der "Four Oak" hat weniger Torf und ist eher Frisch mit Baumrinde, Süße und kaltem Rauch. Er ist nicht rund und schon gar nicht komplex. Doch für mich ist er besser als sein Ruf.
    Manko: Der Abgang ist eher kurz und es bleibt nur ein wenig kalte Grillkohle im Mund zurück.
