Aroma Sweet with notes of poached pears, dusted with cinnamon, plus creamy butterscotch notes and American cream soda.
Taste A hint of apple strudel and vanilla ice cream is rounded off with ground black pepper, wood smoke, toasted oak and treacle toffee.
Finish Persistent and smoky with cloves and subtle accents of maple syrup.

Product description
This Ledaig from the Tobermory Distillery was matured in three different types of cask. Wine, bourbon and port casks were used for the triple finish of the single malt whisky. The design was created by Gordon Buchanan, a renowned wildlife filmmaker who is also a distillery ambassador for Tobermory. The smoky whisky is bottled with an increased alcohol content of 53.8% vol. without the addition of colour and without chill-filtering. For every bottle of Ledaig Triple Wood produced, £2 was donated to the charity partners of the Mull and Iona Community Trust to support the reforestation of Ardura Forest. The forest is home to a rich and diverse wildlife and provides much needed recreational space for islanders.

Aroma: sehr fruchtig, gelbe wie rote Früchte , Süße, Salzkaramell, ein Hauch von Gebäck, dezenter Rauch & Eichenwürzigkeit

Geschmack: sehr schöne süße Fruchtigkeit, Apfelkompott, würzige Rauchigkeit, leicht trocken werdend

Abgang: lang anhaltend, würzig, rauchig

Kommentar: sehr angenehm, etwas jünger?, noch nicht so tiefgründig, wie die älteren Abfüllungen, aber gewohnte Qualität, bei Tobermory / Ledaig bekommt man was man bestellt, unbedingt mit Wasserzugabe spielen und verschiedene Stärken ausprobieren, dann macht er richtig auf

Aroma: Süß mit Noten von pochierten Birnen, bestäubt mit Zimt, dazu cremige Butterscotchnoten und amerikanischer Sahnesoda.

Geschmack: Ein Hauch von Apfelstrudel und Vanilleeis wird mit gemahlenem schwarzem Pfeffer, Holzrauch, geröstetem Eichenholz und Melassesirup-Toffee abgerundet.

Abgang: Anhaltend und rauchig mit Nelken und feinen Akzenten von Ahornsirup.
