Aroma: Reichhaltige fruchtige Beerenmarmelade verbindet sich mit Noten von Pfirsich, Marzipan und Schokolade, Honig und Zimt folgen.
Geschmack: Erneut fruchtige Beeren und Pfirsiche, pochierte Birnen in Honig, Ingwer und Zimtsirup kommen hinzu. Geröstete, nussige Kastanien und ein Hauch dunkler Schokolade im Hintergrund. Sehr ausgewogen und komplex mit angenehmen Abgang.

Geschmack: scharf und ungestüm, Mit Wasser viel besser, dann etwas metallisch und bitter
Abgang: Sehr stark wärmend und immer noch
Kommentar: Die Farbe ist typisch Ruby Port Finish. 60,4% ABV sind heftig - gehen bei mir nur verdünnt.

Kommentar: Yup - Pur ist er schon (für mich) heftig und nur mit Mini-Dramschlückchen zu genießen - mit etwas Wasser -> dann kommt deutlich mehr "Süße" zum Vorschein - man sollte sich Zeit nehmen und sein Wasser-/Dramverhältnis ausloten :-) Viel Glück - es lohnt sich !
