The 30-year-old Linkwood is part of Gordon & MacPhail's Connoisseurs Choice series, which has been bottled by the independent bottler since the 1960s. Each Single Malt is created as a single cask or from a few casks. Detailed information about the vintage and cask type can be found on the bottle label. The Linkwood matured in a single, first-fill sherry butt.

Peter Brown founded the distillery in 1821. At its inception, the site had only two stills, and Whisky operation wasn't entirely legal yet. The distillery formally began operations in 1825, after Whisky distillation was legalized. Brown's original distillery operated with only one wash still and one spirit still. read more

    Geschmack: Süßliche Zitrusaromen verflechten sich mit geschmorten Rosinen und herbstlichen Gewürzen.

    Abgang: Vollmundig und fruchtig mit einer dezenten Kräuternote.
