Mac-Talla is Gaelic for echo. The Islay Single Malts under the brand are produced by the well-known Morrison whisky family. The bottling Mara (Gaelic for the sea) is characterised by the maritime nature of the island and was strongly influenced by the salty Atlantic. Bottled at cask strength!

Aroma: recht leicht und zurückhaltend im Verhältnis zum späteren intensiven Geschmack

Geschmack: Rauchig, aber nicht zu ruppig, gut mit anderen Aromen wie Citrusnoten aubalanciert, gut ein Whisky mit dem man jemand an rauchigere Whiskys heranführen kann. das Spielen mit verschiedenen Verdündungen wie im Video beschrieben lohnt heir wirklich. Aber auch unverdünnt lecker...

Abgang: lang und vielfältig, Rauch und andere Aromen bleiben dabei gut ausbalanciert
