The 2024 edition of the 18-year-old Macallan Double Cask matured in hand-selected American and European oak casks that were previously filled with sherry.

Aroma: Trockenfrüchte und Toffee mit reichhaltigen Facetten von kandierten Zitrusschalen und einem Hauch Muskatnuss.

Geschmack: Reichhaltige Akzente von Rosinen, Sultaninen und getrockneten Aprikosen. Sirupartige Toffeenoten, Vanille und Ingwer kommen hinzu. Zum Ende hin Holznoten mit würzigen Anklängen und gebackenen Äpfeln.

Abgang: Anhaltend, wärmend mit Eiche und Zitrus.
