The new 12-year-old Benriach was matured in three different types of casks: Besides Bourbon and sherry casks, port casks were also used to create a multi-layered malt. The design of the bottle and the tube are based on the original Benriach from the time before its closure in the 90s.

Der ist mir schon beim Öffnen aufgefallen mit seinem feinen Aroma.
Es ist weder der Sherry noch der Port, auch wenn die ihren Beitag leisten, sondern eher diese feine Holznote, die über allem liegt.

Im Mund doch auch fruchtig, leicht würzig,
ein Hauch Lakritze,
herbe Holzaromen.

Ich bin begeistert!
