The Minor Case brand is named after the great-grandfather of the two founders Steve and Paul Beam, Minor Case Beam. As is well known, the Beam family has been successful in the bourbon business for generations. This Minor Case Rye received a finish in former sherry casks, which is rather untypical for American whiskey. This makes the Rye particularly soft and fruity in the Taste.
