    Kommentar: In der Nase zunächst tropisch fruchtig, dann ganz leichter Rauch und eine Meeresbrise im Hintergrund. Auf der Zunge dann sehr würzig, dazu Meersalz. Im Abgang dann weiterhin würzig und maritim, dazu etwas Eiche.
    So außergewöhnlich wie die Lage der Brennerei, ist auch der Whisky. Aus meiner Sicht ein einzigartiger und betont maritim beeinflusster Whisky.

    Kommentar:
    Der Whisky eröffnet in der Nase mit hellen, tropischen Früchten, insbesondere Pfirsich, begleitet von einer angenehmen Würze mit entfernt rauchigem Anklang. Eine gut eingebundene Eichennote verleiht Tiefe, während sich mit weiterer Verkostung feine Schokoladennoten zeigen. Die Fruchtigkeit tritt dabei leicht zurück, bleibt jedoch präsent.

    Am Gaumen zeigt sich ein kräftiger, würziger Antritt mit klarer, harmonischer Eichenwürze. Eine dezente Fruchtigkeit begleitet den Geschmack, während die anfängliche Süße zunehmend nachlässt und einer spürbaren Trockenheit auf der Zunge weicht.

    Der Abgang ist mittellang, sehr würzig und von trockenem, sanft ausklingendem Eichencharakter geprägt.

    Aroma: Vanille gleich in der Nase, den beschriebenen Rauch, finde ich sehr dezent bis wenig. Viele Flora, sehr sanft in der Nase

    Geschmack: rund weich, brennt nicht im Mund, wieder Vanille, salzig, finde ich ihn nicht. Für die Gegend sehr mild, angenehm.

    Abgang: warm l, lang, leicht dunkle Note, Rauch hab wieder kaum, könnte auch vom Fass sein, aber angenehm im Abgang

    Kommentar: bin positiv überrascht, hätte gedacht das er rauchiger ist, passt aber zu ihm.
    Würde ich als Sherry Fan trotzdem wieder kaufen.Fruit Vanilla

    Kommentar: mein absoluter Lieblings Whisky. Nicht so rauchig und salzig wie andere aus der Isley Region und trotzdem komplexer im Geschmack.
